Located in the Shibu hot-spring area, Ichinoyu Katei offers Japanese-style accommodations with Yukata robes. Guests can relax in the indoor/outdoor public hot-spring baths or reserve a private hot-spring bath.
Yudanaka Train Station is a 5-minute ride away on the free shuttle.
Rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floor and Japanese futon bedding. Guests can sit at the Kotatsu heated table and drink green tea. A TV, fridge and a private toilet are included. Bathrooms are shared.

Only one place in the World where monkeys take hot bath !!!
It is located in mountain area just 10min by car from Kokuya hotel. It is harsh environment where snow covers the ground during the winter season.
People named the area Jigokudani (Hell’s Valley) because the steep cliffs and hot water, bursting from the earth’s surface, resembled hell. However, this place is paradise for monkeys, 200 of monkeys inhabit the area at present.
One of the pleasures in Shibu Onsen is visiting its nine public baths. Try these public baths with different sources and medical effects. You can walk from Shibu Onsen to Jigokudani Yaen-koen (Monkey Park) where you can see wild monkeys bathing in hot springs.
